Today, the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) and American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) held a press conference in Washington D.C. to unveil its “Second Expert Report, Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity and the Prevention of Cancer: A Global Perspective.” On November 1-2, WCRF/AICR is then conducting a scientific conference to share the findings of the Report in Washington, D.C., London and Hong Kong

Since the Report was only provided to media today, we have not yet had the opportunity to review it in its entirety. However, we wanted to share some important resources that you may find helpful in case you’re contacted by media, colleagues, patients and clients with questions on the Report.

As always, the beef industry has a long-standing commitment to scientific research, and within these resources posted on www.BeefNutrition.org  you’ll find several downloadable materials to help you navigate the science on red meat and cancer risk, as well as the latest science on the role of lean beef in a healthy diet. In addition, we’ve provided some resources you can share with consumers, such as healthy and safe grilling tips and recommendations to help people enjoy more fruits and vegetables with their favorite foods.

We hope you find these resources helpful, and please continue to visit www.BeefNutrition.org for updated materials and information.
